Care Guide
Preserve the Freshness of your Kiarita Fig
INSPECTION AND DRY REST
Place the figs on a tray in a single layer without stacking them. Do not wash them until the moment of consumption; external moisture accelerates their ripening and deterioration.
STRATEGIC REFRIGERATION
Store them in the fruit drawer of the refrigerator. We recommend covering them with absorbent paper to protect their delicate skin from condensation and direct cold.
LONG-TERM PRESERVATION
If you do not consume them soon, you can freeze them in an airtight container. They will maintain their flavor and properties, being ideal for smoothies, desserts, or jams.

Frequently Asked Questions
Technically, the fig is not a fruit, but an infructescence; that is, a set of inverted flowers that grow inside a fleshy pod. At Fundo La Kiarita, we supervise this botanical process in Nuevo Chimbote with precision technology, ensuring that each fruit develops the premium sweetness and texture that characterizes us as regional leaders.
The unique microclimate of Nuevo Chimbote, characterized by its excellent luminosity and fertile soils, creates the perfect conditions for growing figs. This geographical advantage, added to our sustainable water management, allows Fundo La Kiarita figs to reach a superior level of Brix degrees (sweetness), an exceptional caliber, and a resistant skin, characteristics that the most demanding international markets seek.
